Summers in Chicago are made of two things: pure bliss and music festivals. The weather channel read over 50 degrees this week which means that magical time of year is coming. Plus, hints of summer keep coming with Pitchfork releasing an initial lineup of the three day joyous music festival.

The released lineup is just a tasty treat with still so many goodies still surely to come. So far we know:

Friday, July 20: Tame Impala, Julien Baker, Lucy Dacus, Melkbelly, Joshua Abrams & Natural Information Society.

Saturday, July 21: Raphael Saadiq, This is Not This Heat, Kelela.

Sunday, July 22: D.R.A.M, Kelly Lee Owens, Irreversible Entanglements, (Sandy) Alex G, Japandroids, Ravyn Lenae.

Almost more exciting than the lineup itself is the way Pitchfork is unveiling it: in a three part series of a hand-painted mural in Wicker Park neighborhood (live streamed on Pitchfork’s website.)

For $75 a day or $175 for a three-day pass (or +Plus upgrade is $375 for a three day pass including access to premium food vendors and private specialty bars), the Pitchfork Music Festival is #soworthit. See you in the sun!
